Today I made
A back for the big quilt top.
Now I have done the back I will order the batting, and then, I will leave the whole thing out for the Quilting Fairies to come out at night and hand-quilt it all neatly. I see no flaw in this plan, I think it will be very effective. I may leave out a biscuit, and then they will bind it for me as well. I bet Mitred Corners hold no fear for the Quilting Fairies!

Gorgeous fabric choices. I'm sure the quilting fairies will be unable to resist such beauty.
I'm ordering the batting this weekend, so, Fairies, I'm expecting you next Thursday or so. Bring your needles and some spare cotton, Kthxbai.
God, it would be awful if I had to handquilt that monster myself. It's a good job I've read a lot of pagan books that insist Otherworld Beings are quite real, so, I don't need to worry. I shall sit about drinking tea instead.
Don't forget to leave tea out for the fairies. And cakes....
Can you send these fairies to my house when you are finished with them?
