More cards finding homes + a dog who wanted to find his

CJ over at Oh Miss West has received her cards from Marushka (look Marushka, it took much less time than they told you, and look how nice they look) and Mumma Troll has blogged about her card from my mother (and other lovely swap cards). Anyone else got any more? I shall go and have a look on people’s blogs to see if I’ve missed anything.
I am but a very small dog. Please do not abandon me in the terrifying badlands of Ely Waitrose
And a bonus dog picture. Is there anything sadder than dogs waiting for people? You’ll be pleased to know this little chap had been picked up when we came out, and I’m sure he was much loved (judging by that jacket). Remember though. A dog is for life, not just for Christmas.

aaaw, poor sad little doggy. I hope it went home with the right owner. I know someone would steal it if they did that here.

I was going to say, if anyone stole a jack russell from Ely Waitrose it would probably make the local news, but then I have no need to talk when the headline on the cover of the Cambridge Evening News recently was something like 'Russian student in jail after shooting banana'.

I think he got home safe with his parka, though ;-).

I do love seeing my name in print, does that make me shallow?

I'm glad CJ got the cards so quickly. I had fun making them -- it was the best kind of kit, simple to make and with good results.

I have a love/hate relationship with craft kits, especially the ones for kids -- the makers seem to think you can stick anything together with cheap white glue (for ex, pom poms and felt pieces), which is not always true, or they try so hard to make it easy for kids to do that it ends up being counterintuitive and ridiculous. I'm still bitter about the "lace it together to make your first quilt kit" my daughter got last year -- I could have taught her my sewing machine with less trouble. The lacing cords were immensely long shoelaces... and it just got worse from there.
